As of Monday, Brittania Street closed at Churchill Circle for five weeks

Instillation of service connections to the former Fairgrounds property means an extended closure of Britannia Street, from Churchill Circle to just west of Briarhill Drive, for five weeks, according to the City of Stratford.

The closure takes effect on Monday.

Signage will be placed to advise drivers on a detour route around construction.

This city’s McCarthy bus route will also be detoured in the area. The existing bus stop and shelter on Britannia Street between Briarhill and Churchill Circle will be replaced by a temporary bus stop in Churchill Circle near Britannia Street during construction.
