Thousands of people descend on Stratford each year to participate in sports, providing plenty of sports tourism opportunities.
Downtown Stratford BIA and Destination Stratford are hosting an evening event about leveraging those sports tourism opportunities.
It’s hosted by Kylie Wasser, Director of Sport Development & Tourism, at Destination Stratford.
Wasser will share practical strategies designed to support businesses, whose operations could fall into the area of sports tourism.
City hall auditorium is the venue on Monday, Aug. 19, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
