It’s a big fundraiser featuring classic cars and great food.
The Spruce Lodge 9th Annual Car show is set for Sept. 11.
The show will feature a BBQ by Spruce Lodge, which will double as a fundraiser for the care facility as well as Ken’s Fries and ice cream from Simple Dreams.
DJ Jerry Bell will be on hand, and there is live music from Chris, Danny and Laurence.
Kim Luckhardt, Activity Coordinator, with Spruce Lodge, says everyone is looking forward to a fun night.
“It’s going to be a perfect evening, tonnes of cars, great music, good food…bring out the family.”
Admission is by donation and cars can register for free when they arrive. Luckhardt said the party, from 5 to 8 p.m., is easy to find.
Just drive down the hill on West Gore Street.
“You won’t miss it, you’ll hear the music, you’ll see the cars…last year I believe we had about 105 cars, this year we are expecting even more.”
