Environment Canada has issued two weather alerts for Stratford and area.
As of 11 a.m. Saturday, Stratford and area are under a severe thunderstorm watch and a special weather statement.
The severe thunderstorm watch warns of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
The special weather statement notes heavy rain continuing through Sunday, with higher amounts in thunderstorms possible this afternoon and evening.
