Two people were charged with impaired driving in two separate investigations over the weekend.
On Sunday at 3:02 a.m., Perth OPP investigated a collision when a vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch on Road 164 in North Perth.
A 25-year-old from Palmerston is charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs.
Perth OPP said they also received a traffic complaint on Saturday at 6:51 p.m. for suspected impaired driving. They found the driver and vehicle shortly after in Mitchell.
A 52-year-old resident of the town was charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs.
Both drivers were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford in October.
Both were issued 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspensions and seven-day vehicle impoundments.
