Swifty 50/50: Taylor Swift tickets help raise money for Humane Society

Calling all Swifties.

The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth are raffling off a pair of Taylor Swift concert tickets for her Nov. 15 performance in Toronto.

The winner will snag the tickets to the Friday night Swift concert, plus half of a 50/50 raffle, which sits at just over $28,000 as of Wednesday morning.

Nasreen from the humane society says the initiative is a great way to show support and to throw your name in the hat for some great prizes.

They are great seats, too, in the 100 section at Rogers Centre.

Tickets range from $22 for one, to $250 for 999 tickets.

You can purchase them here.

The humane society are also hosting their Dash and Splash Dog Pool Party at Kiwanis Park in Kitchener, with Stratford and area residents welcome to attend that.

It runs 10-5 and tickets are $15.

Nasreen says all of the fundraising and cool events help with overall goal.

“Lots of puppies and kittens available for adoption. We are still almost at capacity with 180 animals. If you are looking to adopt a pet this might be the time.”

You can simply stop in to the Stratford or Kitchener locations and get the adoption process started.
