A housing symposium next month aims to create actionable housing solutions for Stratford and neighboring communities.
invest Stratford is presenting the symposium in partnership with the City of Stratford, County of Perth, the Perth Huron Builders Association and United Way Perth-Huron.
Scheduled for Oct. 1 at the Stratford Country Club, the symposium will explore programs, projects, and tactical opportunities to increase housing units.
This event, supported by a grant from the Ollie Henry Housing Development Fund, will focus on tangible outcomes and organizers would like participation from residents, builders, banking and lenders and real estate agents.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Guest speaker is Christine Hempel, an urban designer, teacher and researcher.
