Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp and Retreat Centre is receiving $63,300 in funding.
The funds, announced by Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae, are through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) Resilient Communities Fund.
Hidden Acres offers children’s summer camp for campers ages 6-15, basketball camps and camps for single mothers and their children.
Rae said in a media release that Hidden Acres is a cherished local community organization providing valuable programing for more than 50 years.
The funding will help Hidden Acres with resources to develop a one-week summer life skills
program, a spring and fall respite retreat, and adding an additional day to its weekly day program.
