The Kinsmen Club of Stratford is hosting a drive through bottle drive this Saturday.
From 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., drop off your returnable wine bottles, beer cans and liquor empties at the Zehrs Parking Lot on Ontario Street, beside the gas bar.
Hal Montgomery, a Kinsmen with the club, explained how the bottle drive will work.
“Basically we have a tent and a line set up, we have the kinsmen volunteers there, all you have to do is drive up beside the tent, we will unload the bottles from your car, you don’t even have to get out,” said Montgomery.
Although the spring bottle drive was a “little slow”, Montgomery is hoping for a larger turnout during the fall drive.
Montgomery is also offering a pick-up service if you have five or more cases to donate.
All proceeds made by from the bottle drive will go towards community projects.
