James Montgomery lives a life of service.
The New Blue Party candidate for Perth-Wellington in the provincial election, Montgomery has 13 years of experience with the Canadian Army reserves.
He believes affordability is the biggest issue facing the riding.
“Affordability is a huge issue facing Perth-Wellington right now. Whether it’s groceries, hydro, everything that we need to survive has gone up dramatically.”
Montgomery, who works in the local auto manufacturing industry, understands the “hard work and the challenges workers face.”
He says we need “real action to make life more affordable”.
The New Blue Party plans to lower the cost of living by cutting taxes for hardworking families, building more affordable homes, looking at affordable childcare options and lowering energy and utility bills.
“I know what it is people are going through and I am dedicated to helping people get back to being able just to afford what they need to to survive.”
He believes in an “Ontario that works for you, where families can afford to raise their children, homeownership is within reach, and the government respects freedoms instead of restricting them.”
Election day in Ontario is Feb. 27.
