Now that the city has wrapped up and approved its 2025 budget, Stratford Mayor Martin Ritsma is reminding residents to continue to share their voice.
The budget process included opportunities to comment on what voters felt city council should consider and that included delegations during budget deliberations.
The process also included public open houses and a meet the treasurer night.
Ritsma said delegations to council are an important, year-round way to inform elected officials about public concerns.
“That delegation can be in person and/or you can share written correspondence.”
The mayor advises clicking on the inside city hall portion of the City of Stratford website.
The delegation section includes information on when and how to submit, time limits, deadlines for registering and what to expect at a meeting.
