A chance to watch Oscar nominated short films at city hall

What they lack in running time, they make up for in world-class storytelling.

Stratford Film Festival’s monthly screening series on March 15 will offer a chance to watch Oscar nominated short films at Stratford city hall auditorium.

The documentary shorts will screen at 1 p.m. followed by the animated shorts at 4 p.m. and concluding with the live action shorts at 7 p.m.

There are 15 Oscar-nominated short films, including three winners:

• Best Documentary Short: The Only Girl in the Orchestra
• Best Animated Short: In the Shadow of the Cypress
• Best Live Action Short: I’m Not a Robot

Tickets are $15 for adults/$10 for students. Tickets can be purchased online at the Stratford Film Festival.
