Six-course menu and a French drama on tap at The Bruce Hotel

Stratford Film Festival will host dinner and a movie at The Bruce Hotel.

The Taste of Things: La Passion de Dodin Bouffant, is a two-hour French drama presented with English subtitles.

It was France’s submission for Best International Film at the 2024 Oscars and follows the love story of cook Eugenie and her boss.

While watching the film, there will be a six-course menu inspired by the film served from the Bruce’s locally sourced kitchen, with optional wine pairings.

The menu includes braised short rib, leek and truffle soup and a chocolate souffle.

The event starts at 6 p.m.

Space is limited to 55 guests.

Tickets are $125 and must be purchased online in advance.
