Each year, volunteers with the Stratford Poppy Project work their magic to create patriotic displays in various locations around the city.
The local group is hoping to expand their efforts this year.
In addition to hand-made poppies adorning the William Hutt Bridge and a display near the city’s cenotaph, volunteers are planning to add a display on the Huron Street bridge.
To do that, they will need more poppies to touch up existing displays.
Anyone that can knit or crochet and would like to volunteer to make some poppies, can contact the group through their Facebook page.
