Buy a smile cookie this week to donate to local hospitals

Smile Cookie week is back at Tim Hortons in Stratford and St.Marys until Sunday.

You can make a difference by purchasing a $2 Smile Cookie in Stratford. One hundred per cent of the proceeds support the Cancer and Medical Care Clinic at Stratford General Hospital.

At St. Marys Tim Hortons, funds support the purchase of new ultrasound probe units at St. Marys Memorial Hospital.

Volunteers from Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance spent Tuesday morning decorating cookies in support of local healthcare.

The Smile Cookie program started in 1996 and has raised more than $130 million for charities and community groups that are selected every year by Tim Hortons restaurant owners.
