HPHA celebrates Patient Room Rebuild project in St. Marys

It’s a big boost for St. Marys and the greater Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance.

The Patient Room Rebuild Project at St. Marys Hospital is complete, with a re-opening set for next week, offering enhanced care, comfort, and safety for patients, families, and staff.

The HPHA said the multi-year project has transformed patient care areas, with a focus on accessibility, infection control, safety, and overall patient experience.

That includes enhanced heating and cooling, barrier-free washrooms, wider doorways and upgraded lighting.

Vice President of Partnerships, Transformation and Chief Nursing Executive, Lynanne Mason, said the renovation is a reflection of a community that stands behind its hospital, and a hospital committed to delivering care that meets the needs of today and is ready for tomorrow.”
