Police report fatality from Monday morning collision in Perth South

A 28-year-old female from West Perth died Monday morning as a result of a single vehicle collision in Perth South.

Investigation determined a black GMC Sierra pickup truck, southbound on Road 139, weaved within its lane and suddenly veered off the roadway and struck a tree.

Police arrived shortly before 7 a.m.

The female driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision but was not
ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The roadway was closed to allow for the Stratford police collision reconstruction team to investigate.

Anyone with information is asked to call Stratford police.
