Perth South resident hid from police in the bushes after collision

Huron OPP have charged a Perth South resident with several criminal offences after they found him hiding in the bushes after a single vehicle collision in South Huron.

Officers observed the vehicle in a ditch on Sunshine Line and the driver was nearby trying to avoid being found just before 11 p.m. on July 3.

A 47-year-old is charged with dangerous operation, impaired operation and obstructing a police officer and his driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.

The charges will be addressed in Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich.
