Barn fire kills 1,800 pigs

A barn fire has killed 1,800 pigs.

The fire happened Wednesday afternoon on Perth Road 130.

Reports say firefighters from Sebringville, Shakespeare and Milverton were all battling the blaze.

The cause of the fire is believed to be a malfunctioning heater.

Estimates put damage at $650,000.
