PDHU spreading word on colorectal cancer

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

The Perth District Health Unit is urging people to make the first move to reduce their risk of developing the disease.

Karen Bergin-Payette is a public health nurse with the PDHU.

Colorectal cancer causes the second most number of cancer deaths in men and third most in women.

The PDHU says making small changes like getting active and eating well can reduce your risk.
