Free fishing and snowmobiling this long weekend

Outdoor enthusiasts are in for a treat this Family Day long weekend.

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs is inviting people to ‘Try Our Trails’ this winter.

Last winter, almost 11,000 Ontarians tested OFSC snowmobile trails free of cost through this program.

Due to its popularity, the organization has brought it back.

This permit is available free of charge for those who pre-register online and is valid only from Midnight tonight until the end of Monday.

Permit registrations must be done at the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs website.

Also, Ontario residents can fish for free without a licence this weekend but must still obey the laws on the amount of fish they can keep.
