Save VIA makes working agreement with premier rail policy adviser

The Save VIA campaign has gotten a big boost.

The organization has made a working agreement with Greg Gormick.  Gormick is Canada’s premier rail policy adviser and consultant.

This comes just a few days after the third phase, “the voting phase”, of Save VIA began.  He says VIA Rail’s political nature, combined with an upcoming election, makes this an important step:

Gormick says the voting phase is a time when people should be asking questions about VIA:

Gormick is meeting with the group today to map out a strategy for this part of the campaign.

Save VIA says that with Gormick’s help they’ll be able to ensure politicians “clearly hear the need for enhanced rail service.”
