Case adjourned for travel agent

Sherrill Denny’s case has been adjourned until July 27th.  She’s the former travel agent accused of fraud and theft.

The Beacon Herald is reporting the decision to adjourn was made in court in Stratford on Monday.  Denny worked at the Blowes Travel office in Mitchell.

It’s alleged that over a year and a half she defrauded customers before she was fired in February of last year.  She’s facing seven charges in total.

More than $120,000 has been repaid to customers by Blowes Travel.
