Newborns getting “Read to Baby Bundle” starting this week.

Newborns in Perth and Huron Counties will be getting a new gift starting this weekend.

It’s called a “Read to Baby” bundle.

The new program has been made possible by KidsFirst Huron Perth and the Foundation for Education Perth Huron.

The bundle consists of a baby book, a specially designed booklet of rhymes, songs and developmental milestones and a complete list of service and support agencies.

Roughly 1300 babies are born in the two counties each year.

The Read to Baby bundles will help start them off on a path of good literacy skills.

You can find more information about the program at Foundation For Education Dot C-A.
