A stop at a R.I.D.E. check landed a cab driver and his company in a bit of hot water.
The Perth County OPP says the minivan was stopped between Mitchell and Sebringville Saturday night.
Police found that the seven passengers were drinking alcohol. Each of them and the driver were given a ticket.
On top of that police say a check on the cab’s plates showed they weren’t registered to that vehicle. The cab was towed from the scene and the owner was issued a summons for unauthorized plates.
