Ontario’s MPPs, including Perth-Wellington’s Randy Pettapiece, have gotten back to Queen’s Park after the winter break.
Once of the biggest issues they’ll be dealing with during this session are the rising hydro rates across the province. Pettapiece says the rates are continuing to take a toll:

He says another issue he’ll be taking on during this session is getting his private member’s bill regarding firefighter safety to the floor of the legislature. That bill would make it mandatory to identify buildings made with lightweight- and truss-type construction by displaying a sticker on the outside.
