Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece is pleased that people will be getting a break on their hydro bills, but it comes with a catch.
Premier Kathleen Wynne unveiled her government’s plan today to slash hydro rates in Ontario by 17 per cent on top of the already promised eight per cent. The province will be paying some costs for the province’s electricity system over a longer period of time.
