A youth group called Islam Understood is trying to dispel misconceptions about the religion in Stratford.
They went door-to-door in a number of neighbourhoods Sunday talking with people and handing out flyers. It was part of a bigger national campaign that took place in more than 100 cities.
Islam Understood is also holding an open house this Saturday at the Stratford Public Library for anyone interested in learning more.
