It was a good year for the Stratford Festival.
At Saturday’s Annual General Meeting the Festival revealed the 2016 season posted a $687,000 surplus on revenue of $62.4 million.
That’s the fourth year in a row the Festival has had a surplus, off-setting the $3.4 million deficit it had in 2012.
Attendance was up last year as well with a total of 512,016 people going to the Stratford Festival.
