Your Neighbourhood Credit Union is getting some recognition for their charitable efforts.
They’ve been given this year’s Outstanding Corporate Achievement Award by the Ontario Credit Union Foundation. The annual award recognizes a credit union that goes above and beyond normal expectations in contributing to its community.
Some of the more than a dozen efforts YNCU supports in our area are the Stratford House of Blessing, the CJCS-Kiwanis Christmas Basket Fund, Community Living Stratford, the Stratford-Perth YMCA, the Alzheimer Society of Perth County, and the Mitchell & Area Community Outreach.
YNCU received the award last Thursday.
