Flooding has not been a concern for the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority so far this spring.
However, workers with the agency have a lot of work to do before the parks open at the end of next week.
Steve Sauder with the UTRCA says the long and brutal winter has made a mess of their properties.

He says they’re working hard to get everything ready and they’re just hoping the watershed cooperates.

Sauder says Wildwood, Pittock and Fanshawe Conservation Areas will open for the season as scheduled on April 25th.
