Two women are facing charges after a lengthy investigation into a string of break-ins.
The Waterloo Regional Police allege the pair had been using public obituaries and social media to find out when victims would be away from their homes attending funerals.
Over $100,000 worth of electronics, jewellery and cash were taken during the January spree.
A 26-year-old from Waterloo and a 45-year-old from Hamilton have been jointly hit with over 20 charges.
If you have any information about these incidents you’re asked to call the Waterloo Regional Police at 650-8500 ext. 6340 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
