One person’s trash may be another person’s treasure this weekend in Stratford.
The city’s Waste Reduction Coordinator Kate Simpson says this weekend you can put out household items you’d normally want to get rid of, such as unwanted furniture and other residents can come and claim it for free.
You can always check the dates for special events on the Recycle Coach app on your smart phone or tablet.
This weekend is also a hazardous waste drop-off event at the landfill site.
