The Perth County OPP is commending the quick thinking of a transport truck driver after a collision with a crane.
Police say it happened on Wednesday night at the intersection of Perth Line 29 and Perth Road 113, when a transport truck collided with a mobile crane.
The OPP says only the driver of the transport was hurt in the crash, as crews needed the better part of a day to completely clear the area of debris and wreckage.
Constable Paul Payette says he was surprised only minor injuries were reported given the carnage at the scene.
No word yet if charges are pending.
