Stratford Police looking for two men after mugging

The Stratford Police Service is asking for your help in finding two men after a mugging in the city.

Police say a woman walking along Huron Street was hit in the face on Friday May 2nd at about 10:40 that night.

The bag she was carrying was then stolen.

Two men fled the scene and headed south on Avondale Avenue.

The suspects are described as being between 18 and 20 years old.

One is a short man with brown hair who was wearing a black hoodie with an Atlanta Braves baseball cap.

He also had on a white shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers.

The other is about 5’10”.  He also has brown hair and was wearing a gray hoodie and a black and red spring jacket.

If you have any information about this incident you’re asked to call Detective Constable Peter Kolkman of the Stratford Police at 519-271-4147, ext. 151.
