The Huron County OPP says a couple have been taken by a paving scam.
The Howick residents were approached by a man offering to pave their driveway with some spare asphalt he had from another job.
The asking price was $3500.
The couple agreed but the quality of the job was poor and didn’t even get finished.
Their requests to get the job finished have been met with excuses.
A West Perth man was approached with a similar deal last Saturday, but there’s no word on whether the two incidents are related.
