Four impaired drivers charged in Perth County over the weekend

Police say they saw a discouraging number of impaired drivers in Perth County over the weekend.

Perth County OPP say four drivers were located across the county Saturday and Sunday with two of them arrested after entering RIDE programs.

They say the third was seen by an off duty police officer and the fourth was involved in a single-vehicle crash.

Everyone is being urged to plan ahead and arrange for a designated driver or overnight accommodations to avoid a tragedy.
