The wheels are in motion when it comes to the construction of Stratford’s new bus terminal.
Preliminary work begins Friday in the Downie Street parking lot to prepare for the construction of the new transit terminal.
The city says fencing will be installed in the southwest corner of the lot, near the south entrance and the area will be used for transit buses only with no other vehicle parking.
Come Wednesday, additional fencing will be installed in preparation for the actual construction and no vehicles will be allowed to park there.
There will still be free parking available in the southwest corner of the Downie lot, as well as in the nearby Cooper lot.
You will need to go through the St. Patrick Street entrance to enter through the St. Patrick entrance.
