Stratford home to sizzling housing market

It continues to be a strong housing market in Stratford.

The Huron Perth Association of Realtors says 209 units sold in July which is a 22 per cent increase compared to the same month a year earlier and a new record for July.

The average sale price was around $353 thousand which is just over 14 per cent higher than the same time in 2017.

As of July 31st, there were only 506 active residential listings in Stratford which is one of the reasons for the record-setting trend.
