Police say parents, children and motorists need to work together to keep everyone safe.
Your asked to slow down and pay attention while driving near parks and schools.
All cyclists under the age of 18 must wear a helmet.
And of course, make sure your bike is properly locked away when you’re not using it to keep it from going missing.

–Â Â Â Â Â Â Night riders need a white light on the front and red light or reflector on the back
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Dress brightly to be seen at night
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Passengers are not allowed on a bicycle designed for one person
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Ride about 1 metre from the curb, in a straight line
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Avoid pot holes, sewer grates or debris
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Keep a record of your bikes serial number in case it is ever stolen
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Cyclists must stop and identify themselves if requested by a police officer
