A reported gas leak lead to a block of homes in Listowel being evacuated.
Just before 4 o’clock Monday afternoon, emergency crews including the North Perth Fire Department and Union Gas were called to the Main Street area.
A block of homes was evacuated while crews worked to identify the cause of the leak which has yet to be determined.
Main Street was also closed in the area for a few hours as crews were on scene.
No one was injured and the scene was deemed safe around 7:00 p.m. with people allowed back into their homes.
