A 41-year-old Stratford man faces charges after police say he stole a truck and had an unauthorized gun on him.
Huron County OPP say they were at a Tile Road property in Huron East on December 22nd when they came across a Dodge Ram pickup truck that been reported stolen the night before in Perth East.
They say they later searched the property and found a wanted male hiding in a shed.
The man was searched, according to police, and evidence was found that connected him to being in possession of the stolen truck with officers also finding and seizing an unauthorized handgun and ammunition.
Michael Vock faces numerous charges including Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5-thousand, Possession of a Prohibited Firearm and Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon.
He remains in custody with a video court appearance scheduled for Friday in Goderich.
