It’s decision day for Stratford City Council when it comes to the future of recreational cannabis stores in the city.
At their meeting Monday night, council will vote on whether or not to allow the stores to set up shop in Stratford in the future.
The vote comes ahead of the deadline to opt-out of having the stores which is set for January 22nd.
A public information session on the issue was held last week in Stratford.
Also on the agenda for tonight’s meeting is a presentation by the Stratford Town and Gown Committee and an update on the Huron Street and Huntingdon Avenue crossing.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Stratford City Hall and it’s open to the public.
