A Stratford boy has done well for himself.
Jared McCann was drafted over the weekend by the Vancouver Canucks.
The 18-year-old was picked number 24 overall in this year’s draft.
McCann played two seasons with the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds in the Ontario Hockey League.
He earned 62 points in 64 games.
Prior to that, he played with the London Nationals in the GOJHL.
