Pettapiece reacts to Throne Speech

Randy Pettapiece is unimpressed with the Throne Speech.

The Liberal document was read yesterday in the Ontario Legislature by outgoing Lieutenant Governor David Onley.

It promised a made-in-Ontario pension plan, investments in infrastructure and a balanced budget in three years.

The Perth-Wellington MPP says the speech fails to address the needs of our local communities and is unrealistic.

Pettapiece says the Wynne Government still has not laid out any plans to rein in overspending, tackle rising energy costs or improve access to rural health care.
