Stratford Police say rock throwing incident leads to man being charged

Stratford Police say that throwing rocks out of the window of a vehicle has lead to a man being charged.

Just after 11 o’clock Wednesday night, police say they received a report of passengers in a minivan throwing rocks out the window in the Monteith Avenue area.

They say officers found the vehicle and determined that the 35-year-old male driver, from Vanastra, had outstanding warrants with Sarnia Police.

The man was arrested and searched with police saying that officers found him in possession of an illegal substance, believed to be meth.

He was charged with possessing an illegal substance and was released with a court appearance scheduled for July 22nd.
