Police: Van stolen from Stratford painting company recovered

It’s good news when it comes to a company van that police say was stolen in Stratford.

Police say that the owner of Red Leaf Painting in Stratford received information on Tuesday afternoon about where their van that was stolen earlier was located.

They say the van, which had Red Leaf Painting painted on the side, was found parked at the south end of Erie Street.

The company name had been partially painted over, but it was confirmed to be the van.

Stratford Police are asking anyone who knows anything about the incident to call them or Crime Stoppers.
