Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Perth and Huron Counties.
The agency says showers and thunderstorms could drop somewhere between 20 to 40 millimetres of rain within a short time today.
Environment Canada is keeping an eye on the situation and will issue further updates as needed.
