Police reminding drivers that tinted license plate covers are illegal

Drivers are being reminded that tinted license plate covers are illegal.
It comes after a Perth East man was stopped by police in Monkton around 11:30 Wednesday morning because they say he had a dark tinted license plate cover.
After speaking with the driver, a 32-year-old Perth East man, police say the officer determined that the man was suspended from driving.
He has been charged with driving while under suspension and is scheduled to appear in court in Stratford on August 27th.
Drivers are being reminded that license plates must be plainly visible and unobstructed at all times.
