Stratford City Council gives green light to two proclamations

Stratford City Council has signed off on a couple of proclamations for the not too distant future.

At their regular meeting Monday night, council voted to proclaim this coming Tuesday as International Day of Older Persons in the city.

Officials say the day is to honour all senior citizens in Stratford and the surrounding area.

Council also voted to proclaim October as Toastmasters Month in Stratford.
